Service Dog And His Trainer Reunite In His Wonderful Video!

This is a very touching story. When Bill Campbell, Iraq veteran, returned home from active duty, he was on 100% disability, having endured serious traumatic brain injuries. Fortunately, Bill was matched with Pax, a kind golden retriever service puppy who helped Bill get back to living with his life. And now, Pax is returning to the women’s restorative facility where he was prepared to be a service dog by one of the inmates herself. Watch their emotional meeting.

This is such a stunning story. Pax the golden retriever implies such a great amount to both of the people in this video, and it is so touching to see them together.

Pax was prepared at a Bedford’s ladies’ correctional facility. A system through the prison permits the female inmates to “adopt” and prepare dogs into service dogs, same as Lori did with Pax.

Although it is an amazing system for all parties included (the female inmates have an approach to give back and a puppy to love, the veterans are then given a service dog to enhance their personal satisfaction, and the dogs are well cared for), Lori admits to Bill how sad she was to have Pax far from her.

Obviously Lori and Pax are close – he knew precisely where he was when he came into the prison yard, and he ran energetically towards Lori when he saw her.

Lori then tells Bill of an acknowledgment she came to, in spite of being saddened by Pax leaving on her; she understood that Pax coming into her life and working with her so he could Bill was the best blessing anybody had ever given her. Also, Bill can surely agree that Pax is one of the best gifts ever given to him.
